Facts about the flag:
The flag of Georgia is a white flag with five red crosses.

Hence, it is also known as the Five Cross Flag. As St. George is Georgia's patron saint, it was decided to have a St. George cross in the center of the flag. The four smaller crosses on the flag are so-called Bolnisi crosses.

The flag has been Georgia's flag since the 14th of January, 2004. Today, people are unsure of the appearance of the flag's origin, but it is known that there have been similar patterns on flags in the form of war shields since the Middle Ages, where Georgia is located today.
